Why is this cheaper than Chessify if it includes more?

Chessify is a pure engine-hosting business — they sell cloud compute and nothing else. Their pricing tiers are priced to extract maximum value from players who only want engine depth. MyNovelty is built as a prep platform: the engine, repertoire, game database, and broadcasts share the same infrastructure. We are not subsidizing separate products. The $14.99 Pro plan includes Leela Chess Zero — Chessify charges $90–$99/mo for LC0 access on their top tier. We include it because LC0 runs on the same cloud session as Stockfish. There is no trick: the platform approach costs less to run per user because every feature shares the same session.

What if I just want the cloud engine — I already have ChessBase for everything else?

The UCI bridge lets you point ChessBase (or Fritz, Arena, CuteChess, BanksiaGUI, or any UCI-compatible GUI) directly at MyNovelty’s cloud engine. Your existing ChessBase workflow stays intact — the only thing that changes is the engine in the dropdown. You get 32 vCPU Stockfish and LC0 inside the GUI you already know. Download the bridge binary from the Download page, add it as a UCI engine in ChessBase, sign in once, and you are done. The web app is there when you want it; your desktop GUI works exactly as before when you prefer that.

What if I just want help with opening prep — I use Chessable for courses?

Chessable courses teach you other people’s repertoires. MyNovelty is for building and studying your own lines. Upload your PGN files (or start from scratch in the repertoire builder), then analyze each line with cloud Stockfish or LC0 in one click — no copy-pasting FEN strings between tabs. When a game deviates from your prep, the deviation detector shows you the exact move where the player stepped out of theory. If you are currently juggling Chessable for memorization and a separate engine tab for verification, that is the exact friction MyNovelty removes.
